How can we help you?

The best time to enjoy a safari in Habarana is during the dry season, from June to September, when elephants gather in large numbers around the water tanks of Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks. However, safaris operate year-round, and each season offers a unique wildlife experience.

Habarana is ideally located between Minneriya, Kaudulla, and Hurulu Eco Park. Depending on the time of year and animal movement, we’ll recommend the park with the highest elephant activity to ensure the best safari experience.

A typical jeep safari lasts about 3–4 hours. Morning safaris usually start around 6:00 AM, while afternoon safaris begin around 2:30 PM. Full-day safaris are also available for those who want to explore deeper into the wilderness.
